BUTLER COUNTY, KS : Circle school district bus crash near Towanda on Friday, 8th September 2023

One student has died and another is seriously injured following a bus crash Friday afternoon in Towanda, the district's superintendent says.

The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Highway 254 and Adams Road after a school bus failed to yield and collided with a Chevorlet Malibu, the Butler County Sheriff's Office says.
