LAS VEGAS, NV : 2-killed after wrong-way crash on I-11 on Sunday, 7th April 2024

A wrong-way crash left two drivers dead south of Boulder City, according to Nevada State Police.

It happened on Sunday, April 7, along I-11 and mile marker 12 at 6:40 a.m.

NSP troopers responded to the area where according to the preliminary investigation a silver Hyundai Elantra was traveling the wrong way (southbound in the northbound travel lanes) on I-11 when it hit a gray Ford Escape that was traveling northbound in the far left lane of I-11.

The Hyundai’s right front struck the right front of the Ford. Both drivers were ejected from their vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene, NSP said.
