LaGrange man died in wreck near Smiths Station on April, sunday 29th 2017

A 29-year-old LaGrange, Ga. man died early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash.

According to an official report, the wreck occurred on Lee County 379 approximately four miles north of Smith Station.

The victim was Ryan Nicholas Turner.

His 2015 Kia Optima left the roadway at 12:01 a.m. and struck some trees.

Turner was not using a seat belt.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alabama State Troopers are investigating.
