Ontario,CA : 19-year-old Fontana resident killed in crash into wall on August, Saturday 26th 2017

A 19-year-old Fontana resident was killed late Saturday, Aug. 26, when his vehicle hit a block wall, the San Bernardino County coroner said.

Jesus Munguia was driving north “at a high rate of speed” in the 9600 block of Hemlock Avenue just outside the Fontana city limit when he apparently lost control and hit the wall, a coroner’s release said.

The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol just before 11 p.m., according to an incident log. The coroner reported he was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead at 11:24 p.m.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
