FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH : 1 critical after motorcycle crash on Brown Road on Thursday, 1st August 2019

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a motorcycle crash that killed one person Thursday morning.

Deputies were called to the 2200 block of Brown Road before 5 a.m.


Robert Cornette, 45, of Delaware was riding his motorcycle southbound on Brown Road just south of Frank Road when he lost control and crashed.First responders transported him to Grant Medical Center in critical condition where he later died.

The Franklin County Accident Investigation Unit was on the scene and has since reopened the road.

Investigators do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
