Grand Rapids , MI : 22- Years old man killed after struck by a vehicle and hit utility pole while walking along a highway on Friday , February 13th 2015

A 22-year-old southwestern Michigan man has been killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking along a highway.

The Cass County sheriff's office says Friday morning that Joshua Yahne of Dowagiac was hit about 11:30 p.m. Friday on M-51 in Pokagon Township.

The 21-year-old driver, Jamika Morgan of Elkhart, Indiana, and two small children in the vehicle were injured after it ran off the roadway, struck a utility pole and rolled over. The children were treated at an area hospital and released.

The crash remains under investigation. Pokagon Township is about 70 miles southwest of Grand Rapids.
