BLOOMINGTON, IN : Fatal accident reported on Savage River Road on Monday, 18th November, 2019

A fatal vehicle accident on Savage River Road was discovered Monday by a passerby, according to the Garrett County 911 emergency center.

The vehicle was reportedly on its top in the river and the victim was ejected. The accident occurred near the intersection of Spring Lick Road.

Units remained at the scene just before 9 a.m. following a 911 call to the Garrett County emergency center at 7:12 a.m.

Tri-Towns ambulance and Bloomington and Barton volunteer fire departments also responded to the scene.
