TINTON FALLS, NJ : Fatal accident and crime-scene units were investigating a crash on Thursday, June 15, 2017

The State Police fatal accident and crime-scene units were investigating a crash that claimed the driver's life, a spokesman for the agency said.

A Nissan Rogue was found in the grassy median on the southbound Garden State Parkway between the local and express lanes after crashing around 8:09 p.m., State Police said.

The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
