Knox County, MO : Hurdland man injured in Knox County crash on Friday, 6th September 2019

A Hurdland man was injured in a Friday morning crash in Knox County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a 2005 International Harvester dump truck driven by Nicholas I. McCarty, 21, was traveling north on Route V, one-quarter mile south of Route K, at 7:55 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road, overcrorrected and traveled off the left side of the road before hitting a ditch and overturning.

McCarty, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff's Department, Fire Department, Rescue Squad and EMS.
