Flemington, NJ : 6-mile delay on eastbound I-78 in Central Jersey after crash on Thursday, 25th August, 2016

There are delays on eastbound Interstate 78 in Somerset and Hunterdon counties Thursday morning following an accident just before exit 26, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The accident, reported just after 7 a.m., is near the Bedminster and Readington border and is causing delays of up to six miles. There are reports of three people with minor injuries being transported to Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.

Exit 26 is for Rattlesnake Bridge Road in Bedminster. As of 7:30 a.m., one lane remains closed with delays of up to 10 minutes in the area.

Route 22 west in Bridgewater is also closed Thursday morning for an investigation into a double-fatal crash that happened overnight.
