Nashville, TN: Husband, wife injured in rollover crash on I-65 South on Saturday, July 25th 2015

A man and woman were injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 65 South Saturday morning.It happened near the Rosa Parks Boulevard exit around 2 a.m.A married couple was traveling in the southbound lanes of I-65 when the car overturned and knocked down a light pole.Police told News 2 they suspect the husband, identified as Terry Jones, 50, was driving and may have been under the influence of alcohol.Jones and the woman were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where the wife was listed in critical condition.Two lanes of the roadway were temporarily closed for an investigation and so crews could repair the damaged pole.Jones was booked into the Metro jail and charged with being a habitual motor vehicle offender. His bond was set at $5,000.No additional information was immediately released.
