WALTON, WV : Man dead teen hurt after UTV crash on Saturday, 8th June 2024

A man has died after a UTV crash on Saturday, according to West Virginia State Police.

Troopers identified the victim as Jacob Beckner,20, of Charleston.

Investigators said Beckner was driving the UTV when it went off the road, flipped, and hit a tree with the top of its roof and roll cage.

Another person, a 17-year-old, had to be extricated from the UTV and was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries, according to troopers.
