Bethel ,VT :Vermont woman arrested in hit-and-run that injured other driver on Monday ,June 29th 2015
Police have made an arrest nearly a week after a hit-and-run accident in which the driver didn't pay for gas at a Vermont station and then collided with another car, injuring that driver.
Police said 22-year-old Allison Richards was arraigned Monday on charges of gross negligent operation with serious injury resulting, leaving the scene of an accident, and others. It wasn't immediately known if she had a lawyer.
The accident happened June 23. Police said 63-year-old Tavian Mayer of Royalton was hit at the Locust Creek Outfitters on Route 107 in Bethel. The driver fled.
Mayer remains in critical condition at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
