A woman has been charged after her 5-year-old was flown to the hospital following a head-on collision Tuesday morning in Iredell County.
The crash happened around 7:25 a.m. on Oswalt Amity Road near Arthurs Road in the Troutman area.Officials said a MEDEVAC helicopter was called to the scene to take the child to Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte after a car the child was riding in collided with another vehicle head-on.
