YAKIMA, WA : Selah woman injured in Monday afternoon crash on I-82 on Monday, July 10, 2017

The Washington State Patrol said it expects to cite a Selah driver for following too close and causing a late Monday afternoon crash just north of Yakima on Interstate 82.

Troopers say Margarita Canseco, 47, of Yakima was heading west on I-82 when she slowed her 2009 Kia Sedona van for traffic around 5:15 p.m. and was struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Stephanie R. Lee, 22.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the State Patrol said.

Canseco was not injured, but Lee was taken to Virginia Mason Memorial hospital, where she was treated and released.

Troopers said they expect to cite Lee for following too close.
