WOODSTOCK TOWNSHIP, MI : Adrian man dies in Lenawee County crash on Thursday, 18th April 2024

An Adrian man is dead following a multi-vehicle crash in Woodstock Twp. Thursday morning.

The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office says on April 18 around 11:41 a.m., deputies responded to a crash at the intersection of US 223 near Herold Highway in Woodstock Township.

According to deputies, a 74-year-old man from Harrison, Michigan was driving an International Delivery Truck east on US 233 when he stopped for construction traffic. At the same time, a 52-year-old man from Adrian was also traveling eastbound on US 233 driving a Mercury Passenger.

As he was driving, the 52-year-old did not see the the truck stopping for the construction traffic and was unable to come to a complete stop before crashing into the back of the delivery truck.
