Russellville, KY : Two Logan County men died in separate automobile accident on Tuesday, August 1, 2017
Two Logan County men died in separate automobile accidents recently, one on the Bypass in Russellville and one on I-71 north at US-62 in Franklin County, Ohio.
The most recent fatality occurred on Aug. 1 involving two vehicles at the intersection of the Bypass and Highland Lick Road. According to the Russellville Police Department, Kristy Fuller of Auburn was traveling east on the Bypass in front of Wal-Mart when her 2000 Cadillac Escalade came into contact with a 1992 Geo Metro driven by Harold Ashby of Lewisburg. Ashby was traveling west on the bypass, making a left turn onto Highland Lick Road.
Mrs. Fuller and her passenger, Brent Fuller, were transported by personal vehicle to Logan Memorial Hospital where they were treated and released. Ashby was transported via Life Flight to Vanderbilt, where he died during operation to repair injuries.
