Lexington , OH : One Driver killed in Crash after Both vehicles slid off the right side of the roadway and striking a utility pole and guardrail on Thursday , January 15th 2015

At 6:48 p.m. Thursday, Stark County deputies responded to a traffic crash at the intersection of Freshley Avenue, Northeast and Beeson Street, Northeast.

Deputies determined that a vehicle was traveling north on Freshley Avenue, Northeast and failed to yield for the stop sign at the intersection of Beeson Street, Northeast.

The northbound vehicle was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Beeson, causing both vehicles to slide off the right side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and guardrail.

Alvin E. Graves, 78, of Atwater, was the driver of the vehicle traveling north on Freshely. He was taken to Aultman Hospital by Stark Summit Ambulance where he later died of his injuries early Friday morning.

Amanda Renee Dramble, 39, of Alliance, who was the driver of the vehicle traveling east on Beeson, along with a passenger, were taken to Alliance Community Hospital by the Lexington Township Fire Department and EMT Ambulance where they were treated and released.

The traffic crash remains under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff's Office.
