Indianapolis, IN :Pedestrian seriously hurt in hit-and-run accident on Indy’s northeast side on Thursday, July 2nd 2015
IMPD officers are looking for a vehicle that left the scene after it struck a pedestrian on the city’s northeast side early Thursday morning.Police responded to a disturbance call around midnight in the 3700 block of N Sherman Dr. near E 38th St.Officers said when they arrived on scene, they found a man who had been hit by a car.The victim has been transported to Eskenazi Hospital in bad condition and hit and run detectives have been called to the scene to help investigate.Police say the only description they have of the vehicle involved is that it is a four-door sedan.At this point, the investigation is ongoing and our story will be updated as more information becomes available.
