One man is dead following a single-vehicle wreck this morning on Tracy Grove Road.
The man was driving a truck southeast on Tracy Grove Road near Hoke Avenue when he veered left and into a ditch, hitting a tree, according to Trooper Haley Onderdonk with the Highway Patrol.
The incident happened around 9:50 a.m. The man was found dead when paramedics arrived.
A portion of Tracy Grove Road was closed as emergency personnel worked to free him from the truck.
Blue Ridge Fire and Rescue, Henderson County Rescue Squad and the highway patrol responded to the collision.
