Constable, NY : One woman dead and three others injured in a collision of two motorcycles on Saturday morning August 23rd 2014

State police in northern New York are investigating the collision of two motorcycles that killed a Quebec woman and injured three other Canadians. Troopers say 51-year-old Alain Legault of Mercier was driving on Route 30 Saturday morning when he lost control on a curve and crashed soon after entering New York in the town of Constable, 160 miles north of Albany. Police say a second motorcyclist traveling south tried to avoid the crashed bike, but both collided and ran off the road, ejecting all four riders. They were taken to the hospital in Malone, where Legault's passenger, 45-year-old Barbara Hamelin, also of Mercier, was pronounced dead. A 39-year-old Montreal woman riding on the other bike was in serious condition. Legault and the Montreal man driving the other bike suffered minor injuries.
