Willmar, MN : Woman injured on icy roads in Chippewa County crash on Tuesday afternoon, December 20, 2016

A 19-year-old South Dakota woman was injured in a one-vehicle rollover Tuesday afternoon on icy roads in Chippewa County.

According to the State Patrol Aimee R. Sebesta, of Sioux Falls, was driving a 1997 Jeep Wrangler south on state Highway 277 when she lost control of the vehicle, entered the east ditch, vaulted and struck a tree.

Sebesta was ejected from the vehicle.

She was taken to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene of the accident, which was reported at 2 p.m. on Highway 277, just south of state Highway 40.
