Phoenix, AZ : DPS officer injured in motorcycle crash in Phoenix on Tuesday evening, March 17, 2015

A Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol officer is being treated at a hospital after he was hit in Phoenix Tuesday evening.

The officer who was riding a motorcycle was hit by a vehicle at 27th Avenue and Camelback.

Officials say the officer was not seriously injured in the crash.

An investigation is underway to determine what caused the accident.
