Richmond, KY : Louisville man killed in I-75 crash on Sunday afternoon, August 28, 2016

A Louisville man was killed in an accident on Interstate-75 Sunday afternoon.

According to the Kentucky State Police Richmond Post, the initial investigation indicates a 2005 Cadillac passenger car and a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by 67-year-old David C. McDowell of Louisville, collided while trying to avoid a previous collision just after 2 p.m. near the 85-mile marker.

McDowell was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison County Coroner.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Trooper Darrel Hutchison, according to the KSP.
