Quincy, FL : 24 year old man killed in motorcycle collision on Bainbridge Highway in Gadsden County on Saturday, March 12, 2016

A motorcycle crash has claimed the life of a Quincy man.

It happened yesterday afternoon around 2:30pm. Florida Highway Patrol says Melvin Ray was riding his motorcycle along Bainbridge Highway, when he crash into a van.

The 24 year old was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was wearing a helmet. The driver of the van was not injured. Charges and toxicology results are pending. Troopers say Ray was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
