Sacramento,CA : California woman dies Monday after I-40 crash in Okfuskee County on December, Monday 18th 2017
A California woman died Monday after an Okfuskee County crash when she apparently suffered from cardiac arrest while driving, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.
Sherry Robinson, 70, of Livermore, Calif., was the driver in a 5:30 p.m. crash on Interstate 40 about 4 miles west of Okemah, the patrol reports.
Passenger George Robinson, 71, of Livermore, Calif., was taken to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in serious condition.
Sherry Robinson was taken to an Okemah hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Sherry Robinson was driving east on I-40 when she suffered from cardiac arrest and the car hit a tree. The Robinsons wore seat belts, the patrol reports.
