MEMPHIS, TN : 1-year-old dies after accidentally falling over railing on Monday, 19th February 2024

Memphis Police Department is investigating a fatal accident in which a child fell over a railing and later passed away.

At 1:41 p.m., officers responded to a call on South Danny Thomas in the Forum Flats area.

The child was transported to a nearby hospital and later succumbed to his injuries.

In an update from MPD, it was confirmed that the child was a one-year-old.
