Bristol, TN : Fire and a two-car crash on Highway 11 Wednesday night August 6th 2014.

A house fire and a two-car crash along a one-mile section of Highway 11W in Sullivan County kept emergency crews busy Wednesday night. Volunteer firefighters were called to a mobile home blaze near Deck Valley Road about 8-30 p.m. A fire official said the mobile home was a total loss. He said a man at the home was hospitalized due to a hand injury, but he was unsure if it was related to the fire. A cause was not known Wednesday night. At 9-35 p.m., the Tennessee Highway Patrol said a two-car crash was reported in the southbound lanes of 11W. At the time, the northbound lanes at the fire scene were closed. The driver of a northbound Honda Accord crossed over to the southbound lanes, the trooper said. After completing the turn, a southbound Nissan Altima rear-ended the Honda, sending the Honda off the shoulder and into a field. The Nissan went into a ditch.
