Odessa,TX : Westbound I-20 shut down due to east Odessa wreck on March, Wednesday 28th 2018

A major crash involving several vehicles shut down westbound lanes of Interstate 20 in east Odessa on Wednesday morning.

Odessa Police Department Spokesman Cpl. Steve LeSueur said there were no serious injuries. The wreck occurred on I-20 near Faudree Road.

“That area was already congested due to construction,” LeSueur said, adding that “weather was also a factor.”

There were three vehicles involved in the wreck, including one 18-wheeler, he said. With ongoing construction, LeSueur said people need to slow down in that area.
