Stoughton, MA : Two Brockton women injured after a rollover crash on Route 24 in Stoughton early Saturday, September 10, 2016

Two Brockton women were transported to Boston Medical Center early Saturday after being ejected from the 2003 Pontiac van they were traveling in during a rollover crash on Route 24, Massachusetts State Police have reported.

Troopers from the Milton barracks responded to reports of a single vehicle rollover crash near exit 20 on the southbound side of the highway around 3:10 a.m., according to state police.

A preliminary investigation into the crash indicated that the driver, a 24-year-old Brockton woman, was traveling southbound when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over and crash, police reported.

Two occupants, a 24-year-old female and a 37-year-old female, were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover, sustaining serious and minor injuries, respectively, police said.

A 35-year-old man and a 23-year-old female, who were also passengers in the van, were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for minor injuries. The driver was also treated for minor injuries at Boston Medical Center, according to police.

A 32-year-old-female, and two 42-year-old males, meanwhile, were uninjured in the crash.

State police are investigating the cause of the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.

Stoughton Fire and EMS, Randolph EMS, and Mass DOT provided assistance on scene.
