MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO : 1 person airlifted, 2 others injured after Mississippi Co. crash on Saturday, 13th April 2024

Three people from Michigan were injured in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on April 13 on Interstate 57, just 8 miles north of Charleston.

30-year-old Brian Cardosa was driving a 2022 Dodge Ram northbound on I-57 when he crossed the median, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and struck a tree.

Brian and one of his passengers, 59-year-old George Cardosa, were taken to St. Francis Medical Center for their injuries.
