Butler County, MO : Poplar Bluff man dies after crash on County Road 608 on Saturday, March 12, 2016
A Poplar Bluff man died after a crash that also injured two other people Saturday.
It happened around 1:25 p.m. on County Road 608, about half a mile east of Sunset Lane, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol crash report.
The report states that Pamela D. Cochran, 45, of Poplar Bluff was driving east when she crossed the center line and crashed into a truck driven by Donald J. Worley, 79, also of Poplar Bluff.
Scottie D. Reel, 58, of Poplar Bluff was a passenger in Cochran’s car. He was taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredricktown and pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m.
Cochran was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries.
Worley sustained minor injuries in the crash. He was also treated at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Cochran and Reel were not wearing seat belts, according to the report. Worley was wearing a seat belt.
