St. Francois County, MO : Bonne Terre woman died in a Single-car crash on Highway E, near Raintree Drive on Sunday night, November 27, 2016

A woman from Bonne Terre was fatally injured Sunday night in a single-vehicle crash in St. Francois County, police say. Two other people were injuries in the crash.

The Missouri Highway Patrol identified the woman who died as Betty J. Carver, 31, of Bonne Terre.

The patrol said Carver was a passenger in a 2016 Kia Forte that was heading north on Highway E, near Raintree Drive.

At about 10 p.m. Sunday, the vehicle ran off the left side of the road and overturned. The St. Francois County coroner pronounced Carver dead at the scene.

The driver of the car, Amanda S. Allen, 34, of St. Charles, suffered moderate injuries, the patrol said. Allen was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. A passenger, Jerry L. Law, 41, of Bonne Terre, suffered serious injuries. Law was taken by medical helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.

None of the occupants was wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
