Hutchinson, KS : Two Reno County residents hurt after crash at Arlington and Whiteside on Tuesday, November 15th 2016
Two Reno County residents were hurt in a crash at Arlington and Whiteside Tuesday morning.
Reno County Sheriff’s Office deputies were sent to the intersection of Arlington Road and Whiteside Road at 11:23 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash, with one rollover, according to a sheriff's office release.
When deputies arrived, they found Gary Jacques, 70, Partridge, out of his 2017 Ford Super Duty, which was laying on its top in the north ditch.
They also found a 2015 Ford Fusion driven by Florene Krehbiel, 81, Pretty Prairie, in the intersection.
Deputies later learned Krehbiel was heading north on Whiteside when her vehicle approached the intersection, failed to stop at the stop sign and was struck by Jacques’ vehicle. Jacques lost control of his pickup after the collision, causing it to roll.
Both were sent to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center with injuries. Neither was admitted for treatment.
