Windsor, WI : 77-year-old woman died, four others injured in a two-vehicle accident in Dane County on Sunday evening, Sep 13, 2015

A 77-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Dane County Sunday evening.

A vehicle driven by a 71-year-old man from Windsor was traveling south on Portage Road when it made a right turn into the man's driveway. In the passenger seat was his 77-year-old wife. As the couple's vehicle turned in to their driveway, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy also traveling south on Portage Road smashed into their car.

The Windsor couple and three 17-year-old boys in the other car, including the driver, were all injured and taken to UW Hospital, where the 77-year-old woman died.

Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.

Portage Road near Finch Trail in the town of Windsor was closed for several hours.
