Two people were injured early this morning after two pick-up trucks collided on Charles Town Pike in Purcellville.
The 5:45 a.m. crash on Route 9, east of Cider Mill Road, happened when a westbound 2007 Chevy Silverado crossed the center line while navigating a curve and hit a 2015 Chevy Silverado.
The collision shut down the road while deputies investigated the crash and crews treated the road because of an oil leak.
Both drivers are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the 2007 Chevy Silverado was charged with reckless driving. Law enforcement did not release the driver’s name.
