Payson,UT : Man killed in I-15 crash identified as 18-year-old Payson resident on December, Wednesday 20th 2017

Utah Highway Patrol confirmed that an 18-year-old Payson man was killed in a crash on southbound Interstate 15 in Springville on Wednesday.

Gage Carter was on his way home from work Wednesday afternoon when he lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons, according to Lt. Todd Royce, with the Utah Highway Patrol. His car was then T-boned by a pickup truck pulling a trailer.

The family has organized a GoFundMe account to help pay for Carter's funeral.

"Gage loved to smile and make people laugh," the page states. "He was always so happy and kind to everyone around him. He was a friend to all who knew him."
