St. Cloud, MN : West Fargo man injured in crash near St. Cloud on Sunday, April 24, 2016

A West Fargo man was hurt when he made a U-turn into the path of a pickup southwest of St. Cloud on Sunday, April 24.

Just before 3 p.m., Liban Maalim, 19, was driving a Hyundai Sonata southbound on Highway 23 over Interstate 94, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Maalim tried to make a U-turn into the path of a Dodge Ram driven by Sharon Donnay, 52, of Watkins. Donnay was unable to stop and broadsided Maalim, the patrol said.

Maalim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Donnay was not hurt.
