Motorcyclist critically injured in crash in Elsmere Delaware

Delaware State Police say a 38-year-old motorcyclist was injured critically when his bike crashed into a pole near Elsmere.The crash occurred on Du Pont Road at Howard Street on Thursday.

Police say Jesse Streb of Wilmington was speeding south on Du Pont Road when he lost control of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle and it left the road. Streb hit a signal pole on the northwest corner of the intersection with Howard Street. Police say he was taken to Christiana Hospital with head and internal injuries.
