PHOENIX, AZ : Four people seriously injured after crash in west Phoenix on Saturday, 2nd September 2023

Four people and a child are hospitalized after a crash in west Phoenix on Saturday afternoon.

Around 4:45 p.m., first responders were called to a two-car collision near 59th Avenue and Thomas Road. Phoenix police say one of the vehicles involved in the crash rolled over. Four adults were found in the cars and were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but are expected to survive. Phoenix police say a child was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection of Thomas Road and 59th Avenue was closed as police investigated the crash. It has since reopened.
