Columbus, OH : Five injured in crash near Winton Woods on Thursday, 3rd November 2016

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday night near Winton Wood, according to Hamilton County emergency dispatchers.

First responders were called to the corner of Lakeview Drive and Carlsbad Road in Forest Park at approximately 8:40 p.m.

Dispatchers said one person was trapped in a vehicle when emergency crews arrived. That person was pulled from the vehicle and flown to an area hospital.

It is unclear how many of the other four injured required hospitalization. The cause of the crash has not yet been released by officials.

Police and paramedics remained on the scene until after 10 p.m.
