CLEVELAND, OH : 1 dead, 6 injured in multiple-car crash on I-480 West; all lanes closed at Tiedeman Road before West 130th Street on Sunday, 1st September 2024

One person has died in a six-car motor vehicle crash on Interstate 480, the Cleveland Division of Fire said Sunday morning.

According to a social media post from Cleveland Fire, a woman died after being ejected from a vehicle. A fire division spokesperson later told 3News that six other people were injured but were stable and did not require being transported for their injuries. Those six were considered "walking wounded" and remained on scene, the spokesperson said.
