LANCASTER, SC : 1 dead in Lancaster County vehicle crash and fire; 1 airlifted with injuries near the intersection of U.S. 521 and Ramblin Road on Tuesday, 6th November 2018

One person died and a passenger suffered burns in a vehicle crash and fire south of Lancaster, officials said.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 3 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. 521 and Ramblin Road, said South Carolina highway patrol troopers and Lancaster County Emergency Management Director Darren Player.
The person who died was trapped in the vehicle after the crash and died after the vehicle caught fire, Player said.
