Bend, OR : A five-vehicle crash on Sunday, June 25, 2017
A five-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon on U.S. Highway 20 near Black Butte Ranch left two dead and two injured.
Ethan Moreschi, 28, was heading east in a 1996 Subaru Legacy about 3 p.m. when he swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a Chevrolet Equinox driven by Katherine L. Sales, 80. Moreschi, of Bend, and Sales, of Eugene, died at the scene, according to an Oregon State Police news release.
A 2004 recreational vehicle driven by 49-year-old Robert A. Lounsbury was taken to a hospital by ambulance and treated for minor injuries. His passenger, Tammy R. Lounsbury, 53, was not injured. The crash caused traffic delays for six hours.
