Poplar Bluff woman dies after crashing into semi

A Poplar Bluff woman has died from her injuries after her car collided with a semi-truck on Friday.It happened shortly after 11:34 a.m. on northbound Route 67, two miles north of Poplar Bluff.According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2011 Peterbilt 387 semi truck was making a right hand turn and was hit in the rear by a car driven by Charlene H. Pasquet, 41, of Poplar Bluff.Pasquet was taken by EMS to a Poplar Bluff hospital where she later died.Troopers say both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.The crash was investigated by the patrol's Missouri Crash Investigative Unit.
