A woman is sent to the hospital after being struck by a semi on I-94 in Sheridan Township on Sunday morning.
The 30-year-old woman from Albion was driving a GMC Sierra pick-up eastbound on I-94 and said she was running out of gas when she began to slow down in the passing lane.
A semi attempted to pass her around mile marker 121 and clipped the passenger side of her truck. Both vehicles ended up in the median.
Traffic was routed though Albion for an hour while Calhoun County Sheriff investigated.
The woman was sent to Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall where she was treated for minor injuries.
