HOUSTON, TX : Katy Freeway reopens after early morning crash shutdown westbound lanes at Chimney Rock on Friday, 15th December 2023

An early morning crash shut down the Katy Freeway headed westbound at Chimney Rock Road, according to the Houston Police Department.

HPD said the crash happened around 3 a.m. and involved three vehicles. One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition. There were no other injuries reported.

The freeway is expected to reopen after first responders clean off the roadway, police said.
