Chicago, IL : 84-year old West Chicago woman killed in crash in Hanover Township on Sunday morning, January 29, 2017

An 84-year-old West Chicago woman died following a Sunday morning crash just south of Cedar Lake.

The Lake County Coroner's Office said in a press release a medicolegal death investigation team was dispatched at 6:37 a.m. Sunday to 151st Street and Wicker Avenue in Hanover Township.

There, Julia Hansen of the 300 block of E. Pomeroy Street was pronounced dead from blunt force trauma injuries. The manner of death was listed as accident, according to the coroner's report.

The Lake County Sheriff's Department, Cedar Lake Fire Department, Lake Dale Fire Department and Tri Creek Fire Department also responded.
