Tulsa, OK : A 28-year-old Tulsa woman died on in a motorcycle crash in Osage County Monday, May 29, 2017

A 28-year-old Tulsa woman died Monday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in Osage County despite attempts at rescue by a good Samaritan, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Kristen O’Donnell was driving north on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on County Road 2255 1½ miles west of Avant when she veered to the right and hit a culvert around 2:45 p.m., according to an OHP report.

The motorcycle turned on its side and traveled another 80 feet before coming to rest against a pipe fence, pinning O’Donnell.

A good Samaritan stopped to pull the motorcycle off of O’Donnell, who was wearing a helmet, but troopers said paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene just before 3:20 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
