One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in York County Wednesday.
The wreck happened just after 1:30 p.m. on the 1900 block of Reservation Road in Rock Hill.
Officials say 26-year-old Timothy Rodgers was riding a Suzuki GXR1000 without a helmet when they ran off the road and struck a mailbox, causing the motorcycle to flip. Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
WBTV's Sky 3 was over the scene where the motorcycle could be seen lying in the roadway. Officials said no other vehicles were involved.
Authorities closed the road around the scene while they investigated the crash.
